1) Stay calm - This happened all the time: Make sure that you are in the perfect frame of mind to receive information. No distractions that would make your mind wonder.
2) Get a pen and paper: When you write, you pay more attention to what you are reading. It is useful to write down the important ideas to remember.
3) Stay calm - First thing first: The abstract is a brief summary of the article, so read it first because it indicates the important "take-home" points. This happened all the time
4) Introduction: Think of it as a story, you need to know the main character and the setting. Context is everything. The introduction unpacks the direction of the article.
5) Finding/Discussion: If you have no time, jump straight to the conclusion. But if you have five 15 minutes to spare this comes in handy to explain the "Why" questions you will have when you read the conclusion.
6) Conclusion: This is the "happily ever after", or the epilogue- It won't leave unanswered questions. A roundup of the ideas and reiterates the main point and concludes arguments
Voice Coil Actuators (VCAs) are a class of electromagnetic devices that work on the principle of Lorentz forces to generate actuation within relatively short stroke lengths proportional to their own length. Their name derives from their common use in loudspeakers. VCAs are particularly useful in precision motion applications, for they are free from mechanical hysteresis, force or torque ripple, and backlash, due to their non-contact and continuous operation.
